2025 SEDP Annual Meeting

SEDP will be hosting our Annual Meeting at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts (122 E Main, Owosso). The event will feature an opportunity to network with your fellow SEDP stakeholders, a presentation on SEDP’s activities and a look at upcoming events and initiatives, presentation of the Project of the Year Award, and a keynote address from Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Senior Vice President of External & Legislative Affairs, Tupac A. Hunter.

As Senior Vice President of External & Legislative Affairs, Tupac A. Hunter is responsible for the leadership and direction of the MEDC’s External Affairs division, comprising legislative affairs and stakeholder engagement. He represents MEDC leadership in furtherance of the organizational mission and vision, working with executive staff to execute on strategic goals and objectives. Leads and facilitates the building of strong relationships with partners across all key stakeholder groups, including the Michigan Strategic Fund, MEDC Executive Committee, Michigan Economic Development Foundation, Collaborative Development Council, Executive Office of the Governor, relevant state agencies, state lawmakers, regional and local economic development organizations, corporate leaders and others.
