A valid Michigan Drivers License, an Associate Degree in Human Services or related field, Reliable Vehicle, willing and able to drive to client homes to conduct the assessments in their homes for qualification of services, Working knowledge of data entry program MS365 Office Suite, good communication skills, patience. Understand and adhere to HIPPA laws. Salary Range: $18 to $20 per hour Job Description The Home Delivered Meals Assessor will evaluate senior clients ages 60 years and older for qualifying criteria for receiving home delivered meals. The assessment is conducted every 6 months and is completed in the clients home. Data entry using MS Excel and My Senior Center. Referrals to other community resources may occur. Mandated Reporter for Adult Protective Services. The assessor will use their own vehicle and travel throughout Shiawassee County. Answer phones, relay messages and respectful of the office environment. This position is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Benefits include paid time off for sick and vacation.
