C.I.E. - Newcor, Corunna (Formerly Machine Tool & Gear) Hosting Job Fair

C.I.E. – Newcor, Corunna, formerly Machine Tool & Gear, Shiawassee County’s largest manufacturing employer, will be hosting an on-site job fair at their facility at 401 S Chestnut St in Owosso. The job fair will take place on February 25th, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The company is planning to hire 75-100 new employees over the next several months in a number of positions including machine operator, machine tech (setup), quality control, and hilo operator. The company has 185,000 square feet of manufacturing space between two facilities in Owosso and Corunna. In addition to manufacturing capabilities, the company also provides their customers with project management, metallurgy, and research & development capabilities. Job fair attendees will be provided with a tour of the facility, and an opportunity to complete applications and meet the company’s human resources staff.
