In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing and optimizing our parts inventory and product offerings. MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF AGRICULTURE TRACTORS AND PARTS Duties Data Gathering & Verification, Desktop Research: Search parts books, digital archives, journals, and competitor databases to find relevant facts, specs, applications and other information around prospect parts. Fact-Checking: Ensure the credibility, accuracy, and relevancy of all collected information. Literature Reviews: Conduct in-depth reviews to identify existing knowledge levels and/or gaps in specific information. Data Analysis & Management, Data Organization: Structure collected data into organized, easy-to-use databases, logs, or spreadsheets. Trend identification: Analyze data to find actionable trends, patterns, and insights around part demand and offerings. Methodology Alignment: Design and execute research plans that directly match the project’s goals. Cross-Reference Mapping: Build relational databases to map obsolete part numbers to modern manufacturing equivalents, ensuring accurate fitment. Reporting & Communication, Deliverable Creation: Compile findings into part research reports, presentation decks, or briefs. Stakeholder Updates: Present outcomes to management and project teams, to aid in decision-making. Documentation: Maintain highly accurate, detailed records. Collaboration & Compliance, Team Support: Work alongside team members, project managers, and owners. Ethical Compliance: Ensure all research activities adhere to strict ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements. Skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools a plus. Microsoft Excel/Office and the ability to learn new software. Ability to read Blueprints and Diagrams. Deep familiarity with tractor/automotive systems and components, part catalogs, and repair processes. Understanding of manufacturing processes: Prototyping, Lead times, Material Knowledge.
