Reports To: Sign Installer will report to the Crew Chief.

Job Overview: Wolverine Sign Works is seeking a Sign Installer to join our small, collaborative team. We are a family-owned and -operated outdoor advertising business with billboards across the Midwest. We are looking for a friendly, hard working individual to become a valuable member of our company.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• The primary work environment for this position is outdoors, requiring the ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Installing vinyl faces on billboards
• Help build/repair signs
• Use power/manual tools, must adhere to all safety regulations
• Clearing brush
• Driving a company truck to site locations
• Must be willing to work and get along well with others. Work mostly in 2 man teams.
• Usually Monday-Thursday - 40 hours a week (overtime possible)
• Overnights are required (on average 4-6 days per month) we cover the hotel and give you a per diem
• 90 day probationary period

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Friendly, reliable and professional with good attendance
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds
• Must be able to travel and hold a valid Michigan Driver’s License (required)
• Experience in a construction environment is an asset
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening test
• Ability to receive work instructions and follow tasks
• Comfortable with and ability to work with tall ladders & scaffolds and dig post holes occasionally
• Positive attitude
• Class A CDL preferred

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Construction, Maintenance or Installation Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) (Preferred)
